Updating a Local Server
  1. NOTE: We have revised the process for updating a local server to make it easier for you. You will have to update your server one more time the old way (if you have not already done so), and then you can follow the new instructions for updating your local server.
  2. New Instructions
    1. Ensure you are connected to the internet!
    2. If you don't already have the keys for your events
      1. Have me email you keys.zip
      2. Save keys.zip to c:\twsoftware
    3. Go to the c:\twsoftware\trackwrestling folder
    4. Double click on Updater.bat
    5. Continue to press any key to continue when prompted to do so
    6. Make sure the last statement you get during this process says
      • "All of the updates were successfully executed."
  3. Old Instructions
    1. Ensure you are connected to the internet!
    2. Go to c:\twsoftware
    3. Delete trackwrestling.zip
    4. Delete the folder trackwrestling
    5. Start Tomcat
    6. Download http://www.trackwrestling.com/tw/downloads/trackwrestling.zip to c:\twsoftware
    7. Unzip trackwrestling.zip
      1. Go to c:\twsoftware
      2. Right click on trackwrestling.zip
      3. Choose "Extract All"
      4. Click [Next]
      5. Ensure the path to extract to is c:\twsoftware\trackwrestling
      6. Click [Next] again
      7. If prompted about replacing files, choose to replace them all
      8. Uncheck the box next to "Show extracted files"
      9. Click [Finish]
    8. If you don't already have the keys for your events
      1. Have me email you keys.zip
      2. Go to c:\twsoftware
      3. Delete keys.zip
      4. Delete the folder keys
      5. Save keys.zip to c:\twsoftware
      6. Unzip keys.zip
        1. Right click on keys.zip
        2. Choose "Extract All"
        3. Click [Next]
        4. Ensure the path to extract to is c:\twsoftware\keys
        5. Click [Next] again
        6. If prompted about replacing files, choose to replace them all
        7. Uncheck the box next to "Show extracted files"
        8. Click [Finish]
    9. Go to the c:\twsoftware\trackwrestling folder
    10. Double click on Updater.bat
      1. Continue to press any key to continue when prompted to do so
      2. Make sure the last statement you get during this process says
        • "All of the updates were successfully executed."
